Poughkeepsie High School Alumna Takes Command As New Principal A Poughkeepsie High School alumna is coming home to take the helm at her former stomping ground. Kellyann Royce-Giron, a 1990 graduate, has been chosen by the Board of Education to take over at Poughkeepsie High School as principal, effective as of Tuesday, Feb. 18.
