Probe Launched Into Death Of Danbury Man, 29, Stuck In Conveyer Belt At Area Factory Officials have launched an investigation following the death of a Danbury man who became stuck in a conveyer belt at an area block factory. Daniel Kendrick, 29, was killed about 5:55 p.m., Friday, June 7, after being trapped in a conveyor belt system at New Milford Block and Supply Corporation at 574 Danbury Road, said New Milford Police Lt. Lawrence Ash. The accident remains under investigation by the New Milford Police Department, The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. ID Released For Teen Swimmer Found Dead In Candlewood Lake The body of a teen who went missing while swimming in Candlewood Lake in New Milford has been recovered, according to New Milford Mayor Pete Bass. Joshua DaSilva, 17, of New Milford, who went missing while swimming with friends on Monday, May 27, was recovered by the New Milford Police Department and the Newtown Underwater Search and Rescue, said New Milford Police Lt. According to police, the Mustang was last seen at the auto shop on Oct. 3, 2016, when it was listed for sale. The investigation into the stolen vehicle is ongoing. Double Homicide Suspect Found Dead In Dover The suspected killer of a man and a woman in New Milford, Conn., was found dead in his car of an apparent self-inflicted wound about 15 miles away in Dutchess County late Thursday morning. Seen It? Car With NY Plates Steals From Mailbox At New Milford Home Police in New Milford are investigating a fraud complaint that saw a group of people swipe mail from an open mailbox in the area. Officers were dispatched to a Pleasant View Road residence at approximately 1:30 p.m. on March 14, where there was a complaint from the homeowner, who said that the mail had been removed from the mailbox unlawfully. A surveillance photo released by police shows three male suspects who are in what appears to be a newer model white Honda Accord with a New York State registration.
