Alert Issued For Man Wanted On Sexual Misconduct Charge In Area A Putnam County man is wanted on a bench warrant for sexual misconduct, police said.  Michael W. Potter, 32, last known residences were in Patterson, and Memphis, TN, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Department. Police said he stands at 6-foot-1, weighs about 170 pounds, has numerous tattoos, brown hair, and blue eyes.  Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Department’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 845-225-4300.

Fairfield County Has Fastest Rising Home Prices In US, Report Says Housing prices are rising more quickly in Fairfield County than any other locale in the U.S., according to data compiled from the real estate website Redfin by Bloomberg.  Compared to September of 2019, housing sales throughout the county this September rose by 80 percent, and median home prices reportedly increased by 33 percent to $499,000.  The second-fastest-growing metropolitan area was Memphis, Tennessee, according to the data; median home prices increased there by 29.7 percent in September compared to September of 2019.  Also in the rankings was New Haven, which ranke…

Suspect In Stabbing With Serious Injuries At Area Bar Apprehended The suspect in a stabbing incident at a Northern Westchester bar that left several people seriously injured has been apprehended out of state after a police search that lasted more than two years. Erick Grigoroff, 28, formerly of Peekskill, was arrested on Wednesday, June 26 in connection to the Feb. 18, 2017 stabbing at Fulgum’s Bar on Albany Post Road in the town of Cortlandt. He was located near Memphis, Tennessee by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and US Marshals, state police said.
