Nearly 100 Puppies Rescued After Blaze Breaks Out At Pet Shop Firefighters along with the help of Good Samaritans were able to save almost 100 puppies when a fire broke in a warehouse attached to a local pet store in Danbury. The fire was reported around 8:56 p.m. Thursday, Jan., 3, a fire was reported on Lake Avenue Extension in the area of the "Puppy Love" building, said the Danbury Fire Department on Facebook. When approaching the scene Engine 26 could see the heavy fire from Kenosia Avenue, causing Lt.
