'It Is Time For Change' Say Carmel Students During Walkout Students across the country, including those in Carmel, showed their frustration with lawmakers on Wednesday by taking part in the ENOUGH National School Walkout. Two Carmel High School students, Anne Pozner and Taylor Smith, led the way as part of the school's student activists. Following the event, the two said: "The reason for this walkout is to make known to Congress that we will no longer lay quiet as they sit and ignore the obvious need for gun law reform in our nation."
