Kent Supervisor Maureen Fleming Enters Putnam County Executive Race Kent Supervisor Maureen Fleming, a Democrat, is challenging Republican incumbent MaryEllen Odell in this year's race for Putnam County Executive. In a news release from the Putnam Democratic Committee, Fleming said she has the support of county residents from every political stripe, while calling herself a fiscal conservative and strong collaborative leader. Taxes have not risen during Fleming's four years as Kent town supervisor. “I’ve shown that when we work hard together, we get the job done.
