Funeral services have been announced for a 17-year-old Hudson Valley boy killed in a Northern Westchester crash who is being remembered for the joy he often brought to others. Man Killed After Car Crashes Into Guide Rail, Tree In Dutchess, Police Say
Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash on a roadway in a residential area of the region. It happened around 7:25 p.m. Sunday, June 25 in Dutchess County on River Road North in the town of Wappinger. An area community is rallying around the family of a 25-year-old woman who was the victim of a fatal one-car crash on Cinco de Mayo on her way home from working as an extra on a new television show being produced in the area. Orange County resident Rachael Angelo, of Circleville in the town of Wallkill, was killed at approximately 10:20 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5 on Route 17 in Goshen, State Police said. A fatal crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer and passenger vehicle caused the closure of a busy stretch of the New York State Thruway in Rockland County during the morning commute on Friday, March 12. Roadway Reopens Following Fatal Fishkill Crash

A portion of Route 9D near Castle Point that was closed for more than four hours, has re-opened following a fatal two-car crash in the Town of Fishkill, according to Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Capt.
