I-684 Crash Causes Gridlock During Morning Commute
This story has been updated. A crash that caused the lengthy closure of the right lane caused gridlock on I-684 and slowdowns on Metro-North trains moving through the area. The southbound crash occurred at Route 138 in Goldens Bridge with stop-and-go delays stretching all the way north to I-84 (Exit 9) before the lane reopened. The crash scene was near the railroad tracks, leading to trains slowing in the area.
