An unlicensed teen who was drunk and high when he crashed a stolen car at more than 100 miles per hour, killing a beloved honors student in the region, is heading to prison. Police in the region are asking for help in locating a missing, vulnerable adult. Albany County resident Tabitha King, age 41, of Colonie, was last seen in Albany on Friday, March 29, after being dropped off for an appointment, according to Colonie Police. King is 5-foot-1 and 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Colonie Police Department at 518-783-2754. Area Firefighter Sends Sexually Explicit Photo To Purported Underage Teen, Police Say
A firefighter from the region is accused of sending a sexually explicit image to who he believed was a minor. Albany County resident John Redick, age 68, of Colonie, was arrested Monday, March 18, on suspicion of disseminating indecent material to a minor, a felony. A head-on crash on a busy roadway in the region left one man dead and another motorist injured during the morning commute. The Albany County wreck happened at around 8 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28 in Colonie, on State Route 9 near Old Loudon Road. The owner of a fence building company is accused of taking thousands of dollars from area homeowners for jobs that were never completed. Schenectady County resident James Butler, age 30, of Glenville, was arrested on Friday, Feb. 23 on a felony charge of grand larceny. Glenville Police said Butler, who owns and operates “Trust a Fence,” accepted over $7,000 from a Glenville homeowner to purchase fencing material. However, the job was never finished.
