Robbery Spree: Man Targets Businesses In Region For Quick Cash, Police Say A man is behind bars in connection with a string of robberies targeting businesses in the region. Police in Saratoga County were initially called Sunday evening, Sept. 3, for a robbery in Saratoga Springs at the Ben & Jerry’s on Phila Street, according to police. Investigators said 40-year-old Daniel McKay, of Amsterdam in Montgomery County, walked in and told an employee he was robbing the store. He implied that he had a gun but did not show any weapon. The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and McKay fled the scene, police said. No customers or employees were injured.…
