Man Injured After Attempted Abduction Outside Wholesale Club In Hudson Valley Police are investigating an attempted abduction outside a wholesale club in Westchester. The incident happened around 5 p.m. Sunday,  Jan. 22 outside Sam's Club at 333 Saw Mill River Road (Route 9A) in Elmsford. Police Investigating Reported Attempted Abduction Of Boy In Dutchess Police are investigating a report of an attempted abduction involving a 12-year-old boy. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 5:48 p.m. when the victim told police that he was approached on East Market Street in Red Hook by a shorter white male, with gray facial hair and possibly gray hair, driving a blue Chevrolet pickup truck.  According to Red Hook Police, the victim said he was walking westbound on East Market Street when the male pulled up next to him and said: "Hi, I know your father."
