Leon John Moody II, 77, Of Craryville

CRARYVILLE, N.Y. -- Craryville resident Leon John Moody II, died Saturday, Dec. 19. He was 77.

A U.S. Army veteran, Moody also was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #1249.

Moody is survived by sons Leon John Moody III, of Churchtown, and Andrew R. Slitzker, of Pittsfield, Mass.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister.

He was predeceased by his wife, Mary; and his parents, Leon and Elizabeth (Spang) Moody.

A private graveside services with military honors will be conducted at St. Bridget's Cemetery, Copake Falls, with the Rev. George Brennan officiating.
