ID Released For Eastchester Woman Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle Police have identified the pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle and killed while crossing an intersection in Westchester County. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Crane Road and Church Lane shortly after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, where there was a report of a serious crash involving a pedestrian Capt. Ed Murphy said. On Thursday, Oct. 8, police investigators identified the pedestrian as 79-year-old Eastchester resident Beverly Samuels. Woman Killed When Car, SUV Crash In Westchester A 24-year-old Northern Westchester woman killed in a car crash on Sunday has been identified. Ruth Alexandra Cajamarca-Paccha of Ossining was killed around 7:42 a.m. Sunday during a head-on crash on Route 9 just south of Sleepy Hollow Road in Briarcliff Manor, said Mount Pleasant Police Capt. Michael Pierce. Cajamarca-Paccha was a passenger in a 2013 Chevrolet Spark that collided with a 2016 Ford Explorer. ID Released For Woman Visiting Westchester Killed In Single-Car Crash A woman who was killed in a single-vehicle crash during a visit from India to attend a Westchester wedding has been identified. Police said that Bina Chopra, age unknown, was killed during the crash around 10 p.m. Saturday on South Broadway near Benedict Avenue in Tarrytown, said Tarrytown Police Lt. Greg Budnar.
