Second Westchester Man Charged With Stealing $10K Worth Of Designer Handbags In Greenwich Police have arrested a second Westchester man in connection with the theft of more than $10,000 worth of handbags from a Greenwich Avenue store. Gerald Smith, 48, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 20, for the Jan. 15 theft, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz. On April 4, Greenwich Police arrested Joshua Spillman, 40, also of Mount Vernon, and charged him with organized retail theft greater than $10,000, conspiracy to commit larceny and larceny. Westchester Man Accused Of Stealing $10K From Greenwich Retailer A Westchester man is facing charges after police say he stole more than $10,000 from a retailer in Greenwich. Greenwich Police say 40-year-old Joshua Spillman of Mount Vernon stole more than $10,000 in merchandise from a Greenwich Avenue retailer on Tuesday, Jan. 15. The Greenwich Police Department obtained a warrant and responded to Westchester County Correctional Facility (10 Woods Road in Valhalla) Wednesday, April 10 to extradite Spillman to Connecticut.
