Wednesday Is Last Day To Register Or Get Absentee Ballot For School Vote

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Wednesday is the last day to register to vote or to obtain an absentee ballot for the Oct. 20 school district election.

Residents are registered if they have voted in the last four years in any election.

To obtain forms, go to the District Clerk, Eastchester Union Free School District, 580 White Plains Road, Eastchester.

On Oct. 20 the Eastchester community will vote on a $26,900,000 million bond referendum to create additional science labs, classrooms, an expanded cafeteria, a renovated auditorium, renovated old gym and other various renovations and upgrades in the High School.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
