Eastchester Track Team Finishes Strong In County Meet

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – The Eastchester High School track and field team had a strong showing at the Westchester County championship meet on Sunday, May 17.

Senior John Wiley led the way by winning the boys' high jump with a new personal best of 6 feet 2 inches, and fellow seniors Russell McGahren-Clemens and Martin O'Connell had second-place finishes in the 3200 and 1600 meters, respectively.

All three runners earned All-County honors in the process.

The next meet for the team is on Saturday, May 23, as the Section 1 Class B championship meet at Byram Hills High School.
