Mancini was one of a dozen local students to be granted scholarships, which are awarded to impressive students based on cumulative grade point average, President Dario Cortes announced.
The scholarships can be renewed each year, based on the students’ academic accomplishments.
“It is an honor to recognize the academic accomplishments of these high school seniors by awarding them scholarships to attend Berkeley College,” Cortes said in a statement.
The students are an example of what the college represents, he said.
“As a college that values diversity, fosters academic growth and recognizes the potential of each student, Berkeley College looks forward to welcoming these scholarship recipients to our campuses in the coming year.”
