Parents may drop off items in the foyer or cafeteria, during school dismissal, at Waverly School until Saturday. The girls are collecting:

  • Household items: sponges, scouring pads, hand soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, garbage bags, rubber gloves, Q- tips, sheets, towels, blankets.
  • Office supplies: address labels, white envelopes, file folders, paper, post-it notes, postage stamps.
  • Pet supplies: cat litter, Pedigree or Halo Dry and Canned Cat Food, dog biscuits, dog and cat brushes, dog and cat shampoo, leashes, collars, pet toys, Nylabones, wee wee pads, litter boxes, Kongs, pet carriers, canned pumpkin.

The SPCA of Westchester is the only Humane Society in Westchester County empowered to enforce laws relating to animal cruelty. The SPCA gets no federal, state, or county funds. So they rely solely on the financial support of people who care about the welfare of animals.
