CORTLANDT, N.Y. Multiple events have been canceled throughout the Cortlandt area. Here are some of the cancelations.
Sawmill River Audubon Birdseed Sale The Sawmill River Audubon has cancelled its Saturday birdseed sale at the Pruyn Sanctuary. The event will be postponed until Saturday, Jan. 28 at 9 a.m.
The Sawmill River Audubon is still sponsoring its Graff Sanctuary Cleanup Day, to remove invasive vines and shrubs from the sanctuary off of Furnace Dock Road. The cleanup begins at 9 a.m.; bring clippers. The day is suitable for everyone over 8 years old. The sanctuary is located a quarter of a mile from Route 9A in Croton, off of Furnace Dock Road, and is marked by a small sign on the right if coming from Croton.
Hendrick Hudson School District has cancelled all events on Saturday, including trips and athletic events. All buildings will be closed.
