A man with a suspended license faces charges after he was allegedly caught driving a stolen vehicle on the Taconic State Parkway in Northern Westchester, police said. The incident happened on Tuesday, March 28, when police in Yorktown were alerted that an alleged stolen vehicle was traveling northbound on the Taconic State Parkway, according to Yorktown Police. Police arrested a 44-year-old man after he allegedly crashed his vehicle while intoxicated in Northern Westchester. At about 2:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, police responded to the area of 3303 Crompond Road (Route 202) in Yorktown following a report of a crash, according to the Yorktown Police Department. A man with a previous DWI conviction was busted for allegedly illegally driving a vehicle when he was stopped for not wearing his seatbelt in Westchester, police said. A Scarsdale officer on patrol at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, spotted village resident Nagasaki Iturriaga, 36, driving east on Mamaroneck Road near the Post Road intersection without a seatbelt on, prompting a traffic stop. Driver On Probation Busted For Fourth DWI During Stop In Westchester
A Westchester County man on probation with three previous DWI convictions is facing a host of charges after being busted allegedly drinking and driving without a license in Scarsdale. An officer on patrol at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Weaver Street on Monday, Feb. 4 was alerted by a License Plate Reader that a 2013 Chevy Traverse that drove by had a “suspended or revoked” registration. New York State Police troopers busted a man from Putnam County for his third DWI during a stop on Route 202 in Somers. Troopers stopped Carmel resident George Gojcaj, 45, at approximately 11:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29, after he made a violation while driving on Route 202. Police said that further investigation determined that Gojcaj was driving while under the influence of alcohol, and with a suspended license. A 36-year-old Mahopac man was arrested and charged with bail jumping after police say he failed to show up for a court appearance. James Hosford was charged with bail jumping in the third degree, a Class A misdemeanor after police pulled him over for a vehicle and traffic infraction and discovered an active warrant out for his arrest Wednesday.
