Parking Restrictions, Lane Closures Announced In Croton-On-Hudson A milling and paving project will lead to road closures and parking restrictions in Croton-on-Hudson for several days. Milling and resurfacing on Hillside Avenue, Prospect Place and High Street is scheduled to take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 8. Police said that cars should be removed from those roadways before work begins, or else they risk being towed or ticketed. Hydrant-Flushing May Lead To Discolored Water In Croton-On-Hudson Some Cortlandt residents may soon see some slight discoloration in their water as the Croton-on-Hudson Water Department prepares for its semi-annual hydrant flushing program. Beginning on Oct. 1, flushing will be performed from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. each weekday, and is expected to conclude after approximately four weeks. The Water Department will begin the flushing program at the Village well field on Route 129.
