12 Westchester Residents Charged In State Police New Year's DWI Details New York State Police troopers busted two dozen local motorists over the New Year holiday weekend who were allegedly driving while impaired in the area. The local residents charged were: Westchester County On Saturday, Dec. 29, State Police troopers from Brewster arrested Gideon Taub, 28, of Dobbs Ferry, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 22 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Man Three Times Legal Limit Charged In Cortlandt Crash That Injured Teens A 32-year-old man three times the legal blood-alcohol limit injured three teens in a crash in Northern Westchester on Friday, Oct. 26, state police said. Troopers were dispatched to Croton Avenue, in the town of Cortlandt at approximately 7:05 p.m., for a two-car motor vehicle collision with injuries.  An investigation determined Putnam Valley resident Kevin Singleton was traveling south on Croton Avenue, and entered the northbound lane with his 2013 Ford F150.  Singleton struck a northbound 2017 Honda Civic occupied by the three teens, causing injuries to each. Three Teens Hospitalized After Car Overturns In Cortlandt Crash Three teenagers were hospitalized after the car they were in was hit by another vehicle in Northern Westchester. The crash occurred around 7 p.m. Friday between  Short Hill Road and Croton Avenue in Cortlandt. The three were extricated and transported to Westchester Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department, Croton EMS, Ossining EMS and the Cortlandt Regional Paramedic all responded.
