A 24-year-old man faces charges after allegedly shattering the glass windows of a parks and recreation office with rocks in Northern Westchester, police said. The incident happened on Sunday, April 16 around 1:30 a.m., when police received a report of a suspect shattering glass windows at the Yorktown Parks and Recreation Office at 176 Granite Springs Rd., according to Yorktown PD. Emergency responders rushed to the scene after a Jeep jumped a curb and crashed into a restaurant in Northern Westchester. The incident happened around 3:10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 in Yorktown. The Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department said it was dispatched to the restaurant on Commerce Street for a report of a vehicle into the building. Three suspects who ransacked a pharmacy during a robbery in Northern Westchester are in custody after a manhunt, authorities announced. The incident happened on Thursday, June 30 at around 4:20 p.m. at the Yorktown Pharmacy on Commerce Street. A Northern Westchester man was arrested for alleged drunk driving after police received several calls of an erratic driver. Marco Chacha, age 38, of Croton-on-Hudson, was arrested on Sunday, June 6, after Yorktown Police received a report of an erratic driver on Commerce Street heading westbound on Route 202. Chacha allegedly failed to maintain its lane multiple times and was being driven in a manner that was "impeding other vehicles," Yorktown Police said. A woman has been charged after police say she burglarized a CVS Pharmacy in Westchester.
