Lowe’s started a two-day hiring event in Yorktown on Thursday, Feb. 21 in which it interviewed and met prospective employees. They are looking everything from cashiers and stockers to customer service specialists and supervisors. New Lowe's Store In Yorktown Announces When It Will Open Westchester will enjoy a second Lowe's Home Improvement store by early next year, according to the developer. The county's other Lowe's store is in Ridge Hill Shopping Center in Yonkers. The developer of a Yorktown Lowe’s home improvement store said it's slated to open next year at 3200 Old Crompond Road.
