Driver Cut From Van After Crashing Into Wakefield Home A driver had to be extricated from their van after they slammed into a Wakefield home Thursday morning, Nov. 30.  Police and fire crews arrived at the home on Kathleen Drive shortly before 7:30 a.m. to find a 2020 Chevy work van crashed into the garage on the right side of the house. 19-Year-Old Accused Of Killing Teen At Lowell Party Nabbed In California A 19-year-old Lowell man has been arrested in California and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of another teen during a party in Lowell. Dustin Defrietas, 19, was arrested by police in Stockton, California, after Sakdara Khoeun, also 19, was shot and killed at a party at a home on Westford Street in Lowell on Wednesday, Nov. 22. Khoeun died later that same day, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said in a statement. An autopsy later conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner revealed the cause of death to be a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.
