Edward M. Vantassel, 23, was found unresponsive inside his car by EMS and state troopers. Troopers entered the vehicle after several attempts to communicate with Vantassel were unsuccessful, and subsequent investigation revealed that Vantassel was under the influence of drugs.
Vantassel was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Court Monday, Aug. 17.
