Veronica Hallock, a 24-year-old Croton resident who had been missing since Tuesday afternoon, was found safe Saturday at LaGuardia Airport.
Emily Hallock, Veronica's sister, shared the news on her Facebook page. Veronica was spotted by Leslie Kuhn, who saw her at Terminal B in American Airlines departures at the food court.
"I cannot possibly express my gratitude to Leslie Safian Kuhn, who spotted her," Emily said on Facebook. "Thank you so much to everybody -- you've shown our family to have faith in our fellow humans. This is an unspeakable relief."
Veronica was spotted by a young man getting off a southbound Metro-North train in Ossining shortly after 3 p.m. on Tuesday. She had last been seen at Grand Central Terminal at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday and her family had not heard from her since noon on Tuesday.
MTA police found surveillance video of her in Grand Central Terminal at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday with a backpack and wearing a T-shirt with the Captain America logo, according to Emily.
