Buchanan Man Charged With Sexually Abusing Child Under 13

CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- A 72-year-old Buchanan man sexually assaulted a juvenile victim under the age of 13 at a residence in the Verplanck section of Cortlandt over the course of several years, New York state police said.

Additional victims have come forward reporting they were abused by Calman Greenburg, state police said, adding that it is anticipated that Greenburg will face additional charges.

Following a lengthy investigation, Greenburg was charged on Saturday with first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a Class B felony, according to state police.

Greenburg was arraigned in Cortlandt Town Court and remanded to Westchester County Jail without bail. He is due back in Cortlandt Town Court on Monday.
