Glynn Wilbur Meggison, 80, Of Croton, Korean War Navy Veteran

CROTON, N.Y. - Glynn Wilbur Meggison of Croton died recently. He was 80.

Meggison was born April 4, 1933, in Maine. He was a teacher in Bedford Public Schools, active in local politics and in the Lions Club International. He was a Korean War Navy veteran.

Meggison is survived by his children, Glynn Michael of Oswego, Jay Douglas of Williamston, N.C., Tricia Jean (Kalinowski) of Blaine, Minn., and Lee Owen of Sleepy Hollow; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; companion, Helene T. Farrey of Ossining; sister, Mary Jean Duntley; and brother, David Owen Meggison, both of whom reside in Maine. He was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie.

Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 18 from 7 to 8 p.m. with a Memorial Service beginning at 8 p.m. to follow at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St, Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
