CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. Gertrude W. Ringler Massimi of Cortlandt Manor and formerly of Yonkers died Aug. 21. She was 89.
Born March 21, 1923, she was the daughter of Stanley and Gertrude Ringler. She was married to Aldo Massimi for 65 years.
She is survived by a son, David (Theresa) Massimi; a daughter, Victoria (Warren) De Santis; a sister, Joan Portanova; a brother, Stanley Ringler; four grandchildren and a great-grandson. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Heady.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Shrub Oak. Sinatra Funeral Home in Yonkers is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Franciscan Sisters of the Atonement in Garrison, N.Y.
