A stretch of the Taconic State Parkway has reopened after a serious accident early Tuesday evening.
The accident was at Route 82 in Hopewell Junction on the south-bound side and occurred around 5:30 p.m.
A separate accident, a bit farther south, blocked the right lane of the northbound side at Bryant Pond Road in Putnam Valley , causing heavy delays.
