CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. No one was injured Monday morning when a school bus carrying 15 children was involved in a minor accident in Cortlandt Manor, said New York State Police.
A Lakeland Central School District bus was driving on Parkway Drive in Cortlandt Manor at around 7 a.m. when a resident of Parkway Drive backed out of the driveway and hit the school bus, police said. The bus sustained only minor damage and the car had a broken taillight and some paint damage.
The bus continued on its way after being struck by the vehicle and the driver was issued a summons for unseen backing.
