CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Angelo Manocchio of Croton-on-Hudson died Feb. 1. He was 78.
The son of Antonio and Nunzia Manocchio, he was born March 4, 1933 in Barenello, Italy. He was married to the former Maria Mastrantuono for more than 50 years. Manocchio enjoyed cooking, gardening and watching soccer. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, his daughter Lori (Bill) Barthelmes, his sons Umberto (Kim) Manocchio and Mark (Sarah) Manocchio, his brother Mario Manocchio, his sisters Ida Maio and Darvina Discenza and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home in Croton-on-Hudson. The funeral mass will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton-on-Hudson, followed by entombment at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, N.Y.
