CORTLANDT, N.Y. – From children’s theater to the Croton-Harmon competitive cheer competition, there is plenty to do in Cortlandt Manor this weekend. Here are a few events, check out our events listings for events from around Westchester.

Saturday, Jan. 28

“The Butter Battle,” and “Stone Soup” The Children’s Theatre Company presents two musicals beginning at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $10, and the musicals are fit for children and adults. The Children’s Theatre Company is located in the Ford Theatre, Peekskill Administration Building, 1031 Elm St., Peekskill. Croton-Harmon Cheer Competition The Croton-Harmon Varsity Cheerleaders will host a co-ed cheer competition from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., where 27 teams will compete, including the Hendrick Hudson Sailors. The spectator entry fee for all competitions is $10 and children under five are free. A portion of the proceeds from the competition will be donated to help the Croton-Harmon High School Co-Ed competitive cheerleading squad attend the UCA National Cheerleading Competition in Orlando, Florida. Upper Westchester Food and Wine Festival The Rotary Club of Cortlandt Manor will hold a wine tasting at the Cortlandt Colonial Restaurant and Ballroom in Cortlandt. There will be tastings from 21 different local retaurants and breweries. Admission is $45 in advance and $55 at the door. “Do You Dream in Color?” The Valley Artists Association will have an opening art exhibit reception at the Hendrick Hudson Free Library. The reception is from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Hendrick Hudson Free Library is located at 185 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose.
