Cortlandt Rotary Club Serves Pancakes At Muriel Morabito Community Center

CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- Cortlandt Rotary Club held its first Pancake Breakfast at the Muriel Morabito Community Center with friends, neighbors and family in attendance on Sunday, Oct. 5.

Also supported by Cortlandt Supervisor Linda Puglisi, Assemblywoman Sandy Galef, along with Ossining, Yorktown and Peekskill Rotarians a successful event was held with all proceeds going to the local chapter of Make A Wish.

The pancake mix and syrup was donated by member Evan Liaskos of Cortlandt Colonial and Dunkin' Donuts Coffee by honorary member, Paul Sardinha, Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins Franchisee.

ShopRite had volunteers there to help serve up the pancakes, eggs and sausages for all who attended to enjoy.

Peoples United Bank displayed a table with fliers in front of their bank in the Beach Shopping Center Stop & Shop. Place mats were sold, helping to raise funds with more than 50+ local businesses support.
