Woman Parks Car On Hudson Valley Bridge, Jumps To Death A woman was killed after jumping from a bridge in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10:30 p.m., Sunday, May 19, in the town of Rhinebeck.  According to Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge for a report of a woman who had parked her car mid-span on the bridge, exited her car, and then jumped off the bridge. Woman ID'd Who Jumped From Bridge In Region A woman who jumped to her death from a Hudson Valley bridge has been identified by police. Dutchess County resident Dawn Stackhouse, age 52, of Beekman, jumped from the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge in Rhinebeck, on Monday, April 1. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, an investigation determined Stackhouse jumped from the bridge around 9:50 a.m. Good Samaritans fishing near the bridge removed her from the water and attempted life-saving measures, Hicks said. She was transported to a local area hospital where she was pronounced dead. This investigation remains ongoing.…

Woman Dies After Jumping From Bridge In Area, Police Say A 58-year-old woman was killed after she jumped from a bridge in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Ulster County around 12:50 p.m., Monday, Sept. 26 in Kingston. According to the New York State Police, the woman, identified as Diane Jones, of Kingston, jumped from the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge. Her body was recovered by emergency responders. According to the New York State Bridge Authority, as part of a four-year plan that began in 2020, the third of four rate hikes is set to take effect as of Sunday, May 1 in the Hudson Valley.
