Twenty-one years later, Morales, a resident of Catskill in Greene County, died at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center at the age of 42 after a “courageous” battle with an illness stemming from his assignment at the site, his obituary said. Duo Robbed Catskill Man, Forced Him To Withdraw Cash From ATM, Police Say Two suspects are behind bars after allegedly breaking into a man’s home in the region and robbing him. State Police in Greene County were called just before 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, by a Catskill man who said he was robbed at a home in the Jefferson Heights area. The victim told police two suspects, a man and a woman, had entered the home before the man struck him in the face. They took his cell phone, $12 in cash, his state ID card, a bank card, and a Medicare card, police said.
