Police Officer From Region Hit, Injured By Car Two police officers were injured after allegedly being hit by a red Lexus that fled the scene during a traffic stop in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10 p.m., Sunday, May 12, at Main and Church Streets in the City of Poughkeepsie. According to Poughkeepsie PD Det. Sgt. Man From Region Busted With 'Large Quantity' Of Fentanyl, Police Say A Hudson Valley alleged drug dealer has been charged with possession of a large quantity of fentanyl following an investigation. Dutchess County resident Shaquille Heirs, age 29, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested Thursday, April 25, after he was captured in the town of Poughkeepsie.  According to Det. Sgt.
