36-Year-Old From Region Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash
A 36-year-old was killed in a rollover crash in the region.
The collision took place in Dutchess County around 5:15 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 10 in the area of 537 Salt Point Turnpike in the town of Hyde Park.
According to Chief Robert Benson of the Hyde Park Police, Tyler J. McEnroe, of Millbrook, was driving a 1997 Subaru Hatchback when he lost control, overturned, and was partially ejected.
McEnroe, the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene, Benson said.

A Hudson Valley woman had to be freed from her vehicle by first responders after crashing down an embankment on Route 9W.
The crash occurred in Ulster County around 5:40 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 6, in Ulster Park.
According to Sgt. Collin Reynolds, of the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, Manpreet Mann, age 25, of Poughkeepsie was located by police trapped in a 2014 Ford Fusion about 15 feet down an embankment on Route 9W.

A 26-year-old Connecticut woman born and raised in New York who was killed in a single-vehicle crash is being remembered as a "beautiful, sweet soul."
New Haven County resident Jessica Anne Bulfaro, of Milford, who was born in Westchester County and lived in Putnam County, in the town of Carmel, died on Thursday, April 20 when she lost control of her silver 2021 Subaru Impreza and struck two utility poles in Newtown, said the Newtown Police.

Woman Retrieving Dog Struck, Killed On Capital Region Highway
A woman was struck and killed on a highway in the region while trying to retrieve her dog, authorities said.
The incident happened at around 10:15 p.m. Sunday, March 26, on I-787 in Albany, according to New York State Police.
Troopers said the woman, identified as Noella Boucher, age 82, of Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, Canada, was in the southbound lanes near exit 1 after grabbing her dog when she was struck by a car. She died at the scene.
Boucher’s dog was located a short distance away and later died from its injuries, troopers said.
