Fast-Moving Fire Destroys Deli In Region A fast-moving fire destroyed a 100-year-old deli in the region and injured three people. The blaze broke out in Sullivan County around 5:45 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2 at the Boosur Meat & Deli located on Main Street in South Fallsburg. Man Jumps Out Of Window After 3-Alarm Fire Destroys Home In Region A three-alarm fire destroyed a Hudson Valley home and kept firefighters on the scene for more than seven hours. The fire took place in Sullivan County around 8 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 27 at 132 Haddock Road in Monticello. While en route Sullivan Fire was told that a man that had reportedly jumped from a second-floor window had suffered multiple burns. Duo Charged With Burglary, Assault In Area Two men from the area have been charged with burglary and assault, police say. New York State Police at Wurtsboro arrested Sullivan County residents Homer Caceres, 51 and Keshawn Tate, 22, both of Woodridge, on Monday, Dec. 9. The arrests come as a result of a November incident where police say the men unlawfully entered a residence and assaulted the victim. Caceres and Tate were charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree assault, both felonies. They were arraigned in the Town of Mamakating and remanded to Sullivan County Jail on $40,000 bail.
