Valerie Reyes Murder Suspect Was In Country Illegally, ICE Says Javier Da Silva was in the country illegally when he allegedly bound and stuffed the body of 24-year-old Valerie Reyes of Westchester in a suitcase and dropped it in a wooded area of Greenwich,  according to officials with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in New York. Da Silva, a citizen of Portugal, was living in Flushing, Queens when he was nabbed on Monday, Feb. 11, by FBI and local law enforcement for the brutal murder. Totowa Woman Scarred For Life After Finding Dead Rodent In Arizona Drink, Suit Says A Totowa woman hoping for a refreshing beverage said she cracked open a can of Arizona to discover a dead rodent, according to a lawsuit filed in Superior Court. Samantha Corrado says she bought the drink at the Union Boulevard CVS in August 2016, finished the whole drink and then noticed that the can still weighed more than she was used to, the suit says. She looked in and saw the dead rodent, which was not specified in the lawsuit. Hackensack Middle Schooler Brings BB Guns To School HACKENSACK, N.J. -- A Hackensack Middle School student who brought two BB guns in with him on Monday was detained by police and then sent home, authorities said. A source with knowledge of the situation said it was the second time it had recently happened at the Union Street school, which has roughly 1,500 students in grades 5-8.
