First-Prize Take 5 Ticket Sold At ShopRite In Hudson Valley One lucky shopper at a supermarket in Northern Westchester took home a first-prize-winning lottery ticket worth over $18,000, officials announced.  The top-prize-winning Take 5 ticket, worth $18,188.50, was bought in Bedford Hills for the midday drawing on Sunday, March 17, New York Lottery officials said. The ticket was bought at the ShopRite supermarket at 747 Bedford Rd. (Route 117), officials added.  The name of the lucky winner was not released.

The 55,500-square-foot store, located in Ulster County in Ellenville, at 1 ShopRite Boulevard off Route 209, was opened in 1993 by Wakefern Food Corporation in New Jersey.  It is the only major grocery store in the village.
