Commuters in Westchester are being warned that a portion of the Saw Mill River Parkway will close for a period of time to allow for roadwork. On Monday, March 27, between 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m., the Saw Mill River Parkway will close in both directions between Exit 21 (State Route 119) in Greenburgh and Exit Exit 26 (Taconic State Parkway) in Mount Pleasant, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. Authorities in Westchester County are asking the public for help identifying a man whose body was found in a wooden chest on the side of the Saw Mill River Parkway more than four decades ago. One Killed In Two-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash
One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash overnight in Northern Westchester. It happened around 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 on the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway at the Route 117 exit near the Mount Kisco/Bedford Hills border.
