2 Injured, Including Motorcyclist, In Rockland County Crash
Two people were injured during a Hudson Valley crash when a car allegedly turned in front of a motorcycle.
The collision took place in Rockland County in Orangeburg around 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14 at the intersection of West Orangeburg Road and Hunt Road.
According to Capt. Michael Shannon of the Orangetown Police, a 2020 Nissan Altima four-door sedan, driven by Frantzley Gouboth, age unknown, of Haverstraw, was traveling west on West Orangeburg Road.

Traffic Update: All Lanes Open On I-87 After South Nyack Overpass Hit, Driver Charged
One day after a tractor-trailer carrying an oversized load hit a Hudson Valley overpass on I-87, causing a massive backup, all lanes have reopened and traffic is running smoothly.
The incident took place in Rockland County around 6:45 a.m. at the South Broadway overpass at the exit of South Nyack, said the New York State Police.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, Ivan N. Varava, age 39, of Hollywood, Florida, was traveling southbound when the large steel tower he was transporting struck the overpass causing significant structural damage, state police said.

A man was killed during a three-vehicle crash involving a dump truck in the Hudson Valley.
The crash took place around 5:03 p.m., Monday, Nov. 15, in Rockland County at the intersection of Route 303 and East Erie Street in Blauvelt.
A 2005 Mack commercial box truck driven by Orange County resident Andrew Roe, age 29, of Middletown, was traveling northbound on Route 303 when he collided with a 2019 Subaru Forrester, driven by Seymour Whynman, age 83, of Blauvelt, according to Orangetown Police Department Det. A Rockland County teen who was allegedly driving drunk when he crashed his vehicle, killing a 16-year-old girl, will appear in court on Monday, April 26.
The unidentified 17-year-old driver has been charged with:
