Three people are in critical condition, including a female elementary school student, following a school bus crash with a truck in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place around 8:21 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 21, in Orange County on Route 207 in the Town of New Windsor. Man Attempting To Flee On Route 9W Strikes Cop With Car, Police Say
A Monroe man was arrested after allegedly striking a police officer with his vehicle while attempting to flee a stop, according to New Windsor Police. Khachatur Ziroyan, 26, was arrested around 5:30 p.m. Saturday after Officers Francis Pierri and Steven Bohr, pull him over on Route 9W for committing numerous traffic violations, said New Windsor Police Lt. Driver Ejected In New Windsor Crash
A 23-year-old man was injured during a one-vehicle crash in New Windsor, according to New Windsor Police. The crash took place around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday on Jackson Avenue when Zachary Carey, of New Windsor, was ejected from his 2004 Subaru Impressa after failing to negotiate the roadway, said New Windsor Police Lt. Michael Farbent. After being ejected, the vehicle struck a tree and caught fire, Farbent said.
