Hudson Valley Man Who Worked Throughout Nation In Hospitality Industry Dies At 51 A Hudson Valley resident who worked in the hospitality industry in different states across the nation has died at the age of 51. Jason Antonelli died from an "unexpected cardiac event" in Newburgh on Wednesday, July 6, according to his obituary. Antonelli, who was known in his early years as Jason Reichgut, grew up in Hyde Park and graduated from Roosevelt High School, where he was a member of the varsity crew and varsity soccer teams. Popular, Highly Rated Tarrytown Restaurant To Close Temporarily A popular Hudson Valley restaurant run by a celebrity chef will be shutting down for the summer as they look to “reorganize and reassess after a difficult year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.” In a post on social media, Top Chef alum Dale Talde announced that Goosefeather, the restaurant in Westchester County at the Tarrytown House Estate, will be closing down from Tuesday, June 1 through Friday, Aug. 27. Resorts World Catskills New Hotel Complex Opens This Month Resorts World Catskills unveiled plans to open its second hospitality complex and hotel this month in Orange County. Called The Alder, the hotel is accepting reservations and will officially throw open the doors in December, according to a press release from the resort.
