Rockland County Exec Ed Day announced on Wednesday, Dec. 6 he underwent the surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern. His office said Day is in good spirits, his prognosis for a full recovery is excellent and he will continue his official duties without interruption on a temporarily reduced schedule.
