Head-On Crash Involving School Bus From Rockland Injures 1 One person was injured when a car allegedly swerved into the path of a school bus in the region, hitting it head-on. The crash occurred in Sullivan County around 3 p.m., Monday, Feb. 5 in the town of Thompson in the vicinity of 907 Old Liberty Road. Gitty Rosenberg died shortly after 3:30 p.m. Monday after she was struck by a 2017 Toyota Sienna driven by her father, Levi Rosenberg, on Phyllis Terrace in the village of Kaser, Ramapo police said.   The girl was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern by Hatzolah Ambulance, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
