At around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 30, detectives were alerted by staff at New Rochelle Toyota that a possible fraudulent purchase of a vehicle was in progress at the dealership. ID Released For Victim Of Fatal I-287 Crash The man who was killed Tuesday night in a crash on I-287 has been identified. Investigation at the scene revealed the driver of a box truck, John P. Riofrio, 48, of New York City, was traveling eastbound on I-287 when he collided with another vehicle at around 7:33 p.m. between Exits 9A and 10 in Harrison on the eastbound side, state police said. After the collision, Riofrio then lost control of his truck and traveled off the roadway over the southern shoulder and through the guide rail, according to police.
