Man Charged With Aggravated DWI In Area Twice In Three Days, State Police Say
A man involved in a hit-and-run crash and police chase was charged with aggravated DWI twice in the span of three days in the area, state police said.
On Monday, Oct. 5 at approximately 1:10 p.m., State Police Middletown responded to Garnet Health in the town of Wallkill for a report of a hit-and-run in the parking lot.
The vehicle was observed to be traveling on East Main Street in Wallkill.

Man Nabbed For DWI Following Nanuet Traffic Stop, Police Say
Rockland County Sheriff's deputies nabbed a man for DWI during a routine traffic stop in the area.
Christopher Davis, 38, of Warren, New Jersey was arrested on Monday, Feb. 11, after a sheriff's patrol officer observed him allegedly break several traffic laws while driving on Prospect Street in Nanuet, the Sheriff's Office said.
During the stop, Davis was found to be intoxicated and arrested, they added.
Davis was charged with aggravated DWI greater than 0.18 percent, drinking alcohol while driving, and DWI.

A local man who was driving drunk at three times the legal limit was busted by police after he was found sitting in the middle of the road in a wrecked vehicle, said Stony Point Police.
Surujpaul Singh, 51, was arrested Sunday after a Stony Point Police officer responded to a call of a vehicle accident on Van Buren Drive, said Lt. Daniel Hylas.
Upon arrival, the officer found a disabled vehicle, occupied by Singh, in the middle of the roadway with extensive damage to the vehicle, Hylas said.
